2000-2003          Ph.D. in developmental cognitive neuroscience, Institute of Child Health, University College London. Thesis title: “Infant and toddler precursors of attentional processing difficulties in fragile X syndrome: A neurodevelopmental perspective”. Viva voce examination passed with no corrections. Hurray. [Thesis Abstract]

 

1999-2000          B.Sc. (Hons.), School of Psychology, University of St. Andrews. Senior Honour Year with particular interests in developmental and evolutionary psychology. Dissertation title: “What do Diana monkeys (Cercopithecus diana diana) know about conspecifics' focus of attention?”

 

1998-1999          Junior Honour Year on exchange to Queen's University, Ontario, Canada. Particular interests in cognitive neuroscience and developmental psychology.

2003          Annual Neil O’Connor Award for Developmental Disabilities (British Psychological Association - Developmental Section).

 

Bogue Research Fellowship (University College London), funding an internship at the Sackler Institute of Developmental Psychobiology, Cornell University (Worden et al., accepted), attendance to the Annual International Meeting of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping and to the Merck Summer Institute in the Biology of Developmental Disabilities, Princeton University.

 

2002          Research Project Grant to complete longitudinal assessment of the clinical population involved in my doctoral research (Graduate School, University College London).

 

Student Conference Grant (Graduate School) and Dean’s Conference Grant (Institute of Child Health) for the Annual Meeting of the Society for Cognitive Neuroscience (Scerif et al., 2002).
