· Research Interests: Role of the parietal lobes in the planning of saccadic eye movements, using TMS, fMRI and eye-tracking paradigms.

The studies conducted during my PhD have primarily investigated factors affecting saccade planning and execution. Through a comparison of saccade metrics such as latency and accuracy under different task conditions, inferences can be drawn on the cognitive processes involved and their relative complexity. These ideas can then be tested further through the use of fMRI to investigate associated brain areas, and TMS to determine areas essential for succesful task performance.
